Terms and Conditions
1. Object and Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all service provisions relating to home pet sitting (cat sitting), courtesy visits, and dog walks offered by Petcare Suisse. By validating a reservation on the website, the client accepts the entirety of these terms and conditions without reservation.
2. Reservation, Contact, and Confirmation
All service requests must be made via the online booking form. The reservation is only considered definitive after receipt of the confirmation email and validation of payment on the secure platform. A professional from our team will contact you within 24 hours following the reservation to confirm the day of your choice for a initial meeting (first contact) and to proceed with the signature of the service contract.
3. Rates and Payment Terms
Rates for services are transparently indicated on the website and are denominated in Swiss Francs (CHF). The home visit for cats is fixed at CHF 25 for a duration of 30 minutes. The walk for dogs is fixed at CHF 40 for a duration of 1 hour. Optional add-ons are subject to an additional charge to be selected at the time of order. Payments are made by credit card or TWINT.
4. Right of Withdrawal and Refund Conditions
The client has a right of withdrawal and can request a full refund of their reservation up to 6 days before the date scheduled for the first contact and the signature of the contract. After this 6-day period prior to the meeting, no refund will be granted due to the planning and lock-out of time slots by our team.
5. Organization of Visits and Service Delivery
Services are organized according to two time slots: morning (08:00 AM – 02:00 PM) or afternoon (02:00 PM – 09:00 PM). If the client selects two daily visits for their cat, an 8-hour interval will be respected between each visit. At the end of each service, a photo or video report will be sent to the owner via WhatsApp. The “Safe Home” option (mail collection, room airing, watering of basic plants) is included free of charge upon simple prior request.
6. Key Handover and Property Access
The client agrees to provide functional keys allowing secure access to the housing during the first contact meeting. Petcare Suisse agrees to store the keys in a strictly confidential and secure manner, without any indication of address or identity on the key ring.
7. Liability and Insurance
Petcare Suisse is covered by a comprehensive professional public liability insurance (RC) in Switzerland. This insurance covers direct material or bodily damages occurring during the execution of the mission, including in case of lost keys or problems related to the care of the animal. The liability of Petcare Suisse cannot be held engaged in case of the animal’s escape if the owner’s installations (fences, windows, doors) showed prior defects.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The exclusive applicable law is Swiss law. In case of dispute, the legal jurisdiction is established at the competent court of the region of the company’s registered office (Fribourg).
